Requirements

Minimum of bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Management, Engineering or related discipline is required. 

Minimum of 0-2 years’ relevant experience in Trading & Marine sector in the Oil and Gas industry.

Responsibility

The role ensures smooth trading and shipping operations by securing vessel availability, monitoring timelines, and minimizing demurrage. It involves managing vessel allocation, voyage tracking, offloading, and ship-to-ship transfers while maintaining proper documentation and compliance with regulatory agencies. The position liaises with finance to secure funds for importation, manages relationships with shipping lines, suppliers, and government stakeholders, and prepares operational and financial performance reports for executive management. Additionally, the role oversees resource allocation, promotes a safety-conscious culture, and provides leadership through coaching and development of the trading team.
